I’m sure you have seen articles about Intermittent Fasting (IF) recently as it is takes the health and fitness world by storm. AlthoughIntermittent Fasting is far from new, (in fact its been done for centuries!), it hasn’t been until now that more conclusive studies have been done in the scientific research community.  

Understanding Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent Fasting is when you go for a specific period of time without eating food in one particular day.  The problem with this protocol is that most of us wouldn’t last long without anything to balance our blood sugars. If we are just fasting, our bodies are not being fed any nutrients and we could end up using important lean muscle for energy.

So in comes cellular cleansing.  This is a safe method of doing (IF) without starving the body, still giving the digestive system time to re-set and allowing the body to eliminate toxins that can build up in our system.  This method has been shown to give us many health benefits such as:

  • Improved Cardiovascular health
  • Greater weight loss and weight management
  • Better numbers with our lipid panels
  • Stimulation of the Human Growth hormone

The results are so impressive that I decided to incorporate cellular cleansing into my regime, too! I’ve had several benefits overall: a feeling of lightness, no weight gain (even with carb overloading on overly fun days), less brain fog, more energy and digestive issues gone and I am sleeping!
